GEOTECHNICAL STUDIES
Preliminary geotechnical authorization
In order to asses the soil quality from the constructive point of view, it is recommended a preliminary geotechnical study to be elaborated. This documentation may be used for the preliminary stages of the project (pre-feasible and urbanism projects drawn up).
The preliminary authorization could not substitute the geotechnical study necessary to elaborate the plans, it is accomplished based upon the existent geotechnical data or upon a reduced number of field investigation , depending on the importance and volume of investigation.
Final geotechnical study
Represents the basic geotechnical documentation used to design any construction or to consolidate, rehabilitate, reconditioning for the existing constructions.
The documentations represent an essential part in the technical project, imposed by the law no. 50/29.07.1991, updated on 16.10.2006.
Geotechnical studies are drawn up according to the standard NP 074/2007 for:
| • | civil constructions |
| • | commercial and industrial constructions |
| • | agricultural and zootechnic constructions |
| • | hydrotechnical constructions |
| • | infrastructure for telecommunications |
| • | infrastructure for transportation (roads bridges, tunnels, railways construction) |
| • | urban constructions and town management |
| • | land reclamation |
The geotechnical studies suppose to:
| • | site documentation and recognition |
| • | land survey where the construction by geotechnical boreholes/open soundings (ditch, well)/static and/or dynamic penetration tests / geophysical research |
| • | soil sampling (disturbed and undisturbed) and water sampling (if is necessary) |
| • | lab analysis of the soil samples (in order to identify the physical-mechanical parameters) and of the water samples (in order to establish the water aggressivity against concrete and metals) |
| • | the geotechnical study drawn in order to understand the existent field and lab data and the founding recommendations |
| • | checking up the received documentation drawn by an authorized MLPAT expert , the “Af” request and the elaboration of the geotechnical report |
